Get ready for a revolution in jigsaw puzzles

March 3rd, 2011

Hi

Well get ready for a revolution in puzzling….

Do you love Facebook? Want extra cash?

Great new jigsaws, including the biggest one you’ve ever seen!

At the moment we are just putting the final bits together and then I’ll share our puzzle revolution plan with you. It’s quite exciting and if you love doing jigsaws it should save you around 30%… Hopefully it will be ready in about 14 days. Just before our 10th birthday, can’t believe it…. but it should allow you to start doing more jigsaws.

Are you a fan of Facebook? It’s not something that I’ve got into but I’m aware that some people love it. If that’s you and you know how to set it up and would be willing to write interesting stuff for us and keep in contact with our ‘fans’ could you drop me an email please - alan@alljigsawpuzzles.co.uk let me know a bit about what you can do. Of course we’ll pay you in cash or jigsaws!

We’ve been working really hard adding even more jigsaws than ever. How would you fancy doing the world’s largest jigsaw? It’s got 32,000 pieces - massive. You can see it here. We think it’s a surprising choice of image! When it’s delivered it even comes with it’s own trolley it’s so BIG. If you don’t have the room for that there are loads of others to choose from.

http://www.alljigsawpuzzles.co.uk/worldslargest.htm (It’s about halfway down the page called - Keith Haring, Double Retrospect)

By the way we are into the last few days of our first ever clearance sale. More jigsaws reduced to £2.99 or less. If you fancy a last second bargain http://www.alljigsawpuzzles.co.uk/clearance.htm

Don’t forget if you need a puzzle board to complete your wonderful jigsaws on then we still have the best deal available - A classic Porta Puzzle Board for 1000pc jigsaws (and we are including 7 free jigsaws with it!).

Plus if you need some puzzle glue to preserve your wonderful creations then you can see the details at the bottom of the page at - http://www.alljigsawpuzzles.co.uk/porta_puzzle_boards.htm

It was pointed out to me last time that I had forgotten to do our quiz - so back by popular demand!!! Out of the 3 statements below can you tell me which is false and made up by me whilst having a cuppa this morning?

1) A pint-sized dinosaur with sharp teeth and claws has been unearthed

in Argentina

2) Cars that can hover a few metres above a road are now being

seriously considered by a Japanese car maker. The cars would also be

able to hover / drive on water.

3) An Italian man shot in the head on New Year’s Eve has survived

unharmed after sneezing out the bullet

Don’t you love kids - You may remember a couple of weeks ago I was telling you about my son who turned 5. Well shortly afterwards we took them all to the local library to change the library books and my other son who was 2 needed the loo. My wife took him so she could go too and then about 5 minute later when it was really quiet in there (Saturday morning so nice and busy) he shouts out ‘MUM I know what your knickers look like’ - she went bright red!

Thank you very much as always - I know I’m always going on about it but I really value your support and custom. Being a small business is tough when you try and compete against the big boys. So it’s thanks to wonderful people like you that we are still here.

Best Wishes

Which address should I send your jigsaws too?

November 19th, 2010

Hi {!firstname_fix}

Wow, what a mad couple of weeks! Middle of November and this morning I heard at least 2 christmas tunes on the radio - is it just me or is that perhaps just a little early!

We’ve been busy packing orders which is great news (it’s what keeps the roof over my head!) and it’s also lovely that you still use and support family business like ours - thank you very much. I am very impressed with how organised some of you are - gettting ready for Christmas already. It makes me think I must make a start too!

  1. I messed up, but here’s how you benefit from my mistake…
  2. Win a free puzzle board with 7 free jigsaws every 48 hours for 8 days!
  3. Need some inspiration?
  4. Fancy helping us?

1 - I’m sorry - I messed up!

You may remember in the summer that we launched www.amazingearrings.co.uk . Unfortunately it hasn’t worked out as well as I had hoped and sadly I have a lot of stock I need to clear ASAP. So I’m going to make you an offer I hope you can’t refuse?

What address should I send them to?

Place any order for jigsaws over £30 and I will include a pair of real sterling silver white pearl earrings. These aren’t your typical faux (fake) pearls, that you see in catalogues. From the start I wanted to offer the best value I could. I actually found the place where these are harvested and did a deal with them. So, from the start we were selling genuine pearl earrings for only £16.99 which were already around 60 - 70% less than most. But now I need to clear a lot of them.

With any order over £30 I will include these completely free. Plus, to make it even more amazing I will also include a £10 voucher for www.amazingearrings.co.uk that has no minimum required spend. So with earrings from £12.99 you can now get them for just £2.99, crazy I know but I need to clear them. Please note the voucher does say that it requires a minimum spend of £20 but we are going to scrap that for our special jigsaw puzzle customers.

Now you can really treat someone special, Mum, daughter, friends, relatives and give them an amazing gift. They come in a beautiful aqua blue presentation box and will make an extra special gift - ideal for Christmas presents. So if you want these sterling silver white pearl earrings worth at least £16.99 completely free and a £10 voucher also completely free just select any jigsaws totaling £30+ and I’ll send them to you.

By the way pearls are still fashionable and will go with any outfit. Just recently stars including Cheryl Cole, Catherine Zeta Jones, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston, Helen Mirren, Michelle Obama, have all been spotted wearing pearls. Now you can claim a pair free while stocks last. Select your jigsaws from http://www.AllJigsawPuzzles.co.uk/index.html

2 - {!firstname_fix} How would you like a 1000 piece puzzle board and 7 free jigsaws - free?

Simply place your order with us anytime in the next 8 days and every 48hrs I will randomly select one customer and send them a complimentary 1000 piece puzzle board and 7 free jigsaws. So order now and you will be in with a chance to win one of these amazing boards (if you order one and win one I’ll refund your entire order for you).

Forget doing jigsaws on the table, or worse still on the floor and hurting your back. You can use these on the sofa watching TV if you wish. They are light and sturdy and at this time of year make perfect gifts (hint, hint!). I would thoroughly recommend them as a necessity for any jigsaw enthusiast!

Plus as a special offer we are including 7 jigsaws which should keep any puzzle lover going for a while. There are 4×1000 piece and 3×500 pieces jigsaws that I’m sure you’ll like. This offer is exclusive to us, you won’t see it anywhere else. It’s something I put together to give you that little extra.

We like to think our range and service is great - but really it’s what our customers say

Why not try us now for a jigsaw - don’t forget we have a full 90 day money back guarantee (see the website for details) and we guarantee the lowest price in the UK. Plus I am holding our super low delivery charge of just 97p for another couple of days.

“Never found such great service”

Testimonial

“I have never found such a great service, and that includes quality of the products, prices, and selections.

I am really pleased I have found this web site, I m sure I am going to be one of the best customers in the future. Thank you again.”

3 - Need some inpiration for any gifts this year?

I know it’s tricky to come up with fun ideas that people will love. Luckily, jigsaws have always stood the test of time and it doesn’t matter if you are 2 or 102 we’ve got jigsaws for you. Right now there is everything from 4 pieces all the way through to the 18,000 piece (Skylines of the World) - something for everyone! Currently, the most popular category is a close tie between the Christmas jigsaws (loads of truly festive winter snow scenes) and the ever popular personalised jigsaws using your photos.

Christmas - Personalised - Puzzleball - Disney - DVD & Jigsaw - Comedy - Nostalgia - Everything!

4 - Fancy Helping Us?

By the way, if anyone lives close to us (South Nutfield, Surrey - about a mile outside Redhill) and fancies coming to join the team for a few weeks please can you drop me an email. We really need extra people to help wrap orders so we keep up our high standards. We’re a friendly bunch and have a laugh whilst we work hard. You will be on your feet most of the day!

Thank you again. The photo on the left was my son last year meeting Father Christmas. He went dressed as ‘Tigger’ (not sure why!) he was almost 4 then, now he’s coming up 5 and he’s getting hyper excited. It’s such a wonderful time for them. Plus his older sister who is 6 just loves making Christmas lists - it’s a great way for her to practise reading, writing and spelling as Santa has to be able to read those lists you write!

Until next time keep enjoying the jigsaws. It’s great to have one on the go. I’m currently doing the Thomas Kinkade Blessings of Christmas and it’s much harder than I thought!

Best wishes

Forgotton the simple pleasures in life such as doing a jigsaw?

October 29th, 2010

Chances are that like me you spend most of your life rushing around. There never seems time to rewind.

Simple pleasures that you enjoy in your spare time can really help you feel happier. I love cycling but my bike needs repairing - whyI  don’t get fix the bike, I don’t know!

Jigsaws too are a great thing to do at Christmas with all the family. But as the old saying goes, they are not only just for Christmas. They are great fun and are an excellent way to relax.

And if you just want to relax with a jigsaw in front of Corrie, may I suggest this special Coronation Wasgij jigsaw.

Make time this weekend for doing something you want to do. I’m being a DJ again with internet radio station Radio Wey. If you want to attend my virtual 70’s and 80’s school disco just visit:

www.radiowey.co.uk

Saturday evening at 8 pm to 10 pm. Email me in a request and I’ll play it for you.

Have a great one

Tim
